About Rachel
Actor, Producer & Teaching Artist
I'm an actor, producer, and teaching artist working in TV, film and theater--and a Minnesota mom of three. I came to this work from a deep love of storytelling and personal growth. I believe that powerful storytelling comes from a willingness to confront what's real--honest, human, and transformative--that's where the good stuff lives!
Prior to acting, I was a professional ballroom & Latin dancer and instructor, rising to become a U.S. Professional Nine-Dance Semi-Finalist competing with my students nationwide. I am also fluent in French and play classical piano and flute.
Some of my favorite acting roles include playing an entitled mom in John Mulaney's Everybody's in LA (Netflix); Megan, a well-meaning but intense PTA mom in the comedy series C'est La Vie; Doris, a struggling 1940's housewife in the film noir Through a Fading Eye, and an empathetic social worker in the play, One in the Chamber. Films I've worked on have screened and won awards at festivals like the IndieX Festival and Fastidious Film Festival, among others. I've also appeared in major productions including: Babylon (Paramount), The Young and the Restless (CBS), Perry Mason (HBO) and Penny Dreadful (Showtime).
I had the pleasure of being a co-executive producer on Freud's Last Session starring Anthony Hopkins and Matthew Goode--an experience that deepened my respect for the craft from the other side of the camera.
I split time between my professional base in Los Angeles and my home state of Minnesota, where I love to give back by teaching On Camera Acting at FilmNorth and as a guest acting coach for the drama students at Mounds View High School.

Classes
My classes are grounded in a practical, supportive approach that helps actors grow both creatively and professionally. Whether focused on craft or career, the work is designed to build clarity, confidence, and a strong, sustainable foundation for life as an actor.
